Kyuhyun's Agency To Take Strong Legal Action Against Malicious Posts

Super Junior member Kyuhyun’s agency has announced that they will take strong legal action against malicious comments.

Kyuhyun recently appeared on the Netflix variety show “The Devil’s Plan: Death Room.” After all episodes of the show were released, some viewers posted criticism and negative reactions regarding the gameplay of Kyuhyun as well as actress Yoon So Hee and influencer Jung Hyun Gyu on online communities and social media.

In response to this, Kyuhyun’s agency Antenna released the following statement on June 4:

Hello, this is Antenna.

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank you for the love and support you have shown to the artists under Antenna.

Recently, we have confirmed numerous acts targeting our artist Kyuhyun that go beyond freedom of expression and infringe upon his character. Malicious posts—including incitement to disrupt activities, spreading false information, abusive language and slander, and sexual harassment—are causing concern not only for the artist but also for the mental well-being of fans.

Accordingly, we are preparing strong legal action based on the evidence we have collected through reports and monitoring.

Furthermore, we will continue to take legal measures against any future defamation or similar acts targeting our artists.

We will do our utmost to protect the rights and interests of our artists.
