Upcoming drama “Yumi’s Cells 3” has revealed its supporting cast lineup!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi (Kim Go Eun)—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Following the success of Season 1, the second season also achieved high viewership ratings and has been loved by fans all over the world.

In Season 3, the story follows Yumi, who was once an ordinary office worker, as she becomes a star author after much hard work.

Kim Go Eun returns as Yumi and is once again expected to captivate viewers with her dynamic performance. After pursuing a new dream of becoming a writer, Yumi found major success as a romance novelist who won readers’ hearts. However, love remains her greatest challenge. The village of her cells appears to be in quiet dormancy, with nothing exciting happening—until the sudden arrival of Soon Rok (Kim Jae Won) brings a refreshing change to her life.

Kim Jae Won plays Soon Rok, the man who will shake up Yumi’s cell village. With a sweet face and a talent for delivering unexpectedly blunt truths, he joins the editorial team at Julie Publishing as a new producer. Soon Rok is a character full of surprising contrasts and unexpected charm.

Though he seems to be guided solely by logic, his assignment to work with the emotionally driven Yumi leads to a series of unpredictable developments. Viewers are eager to see the warm and playful chemistry he is expected to share with Kim Go Eun.

Jeon Suk Ho returns as Ahn Dae Yong, editor in chief at Julie Publishing. The person who helped launch Yumi’s writing career and the husband of Yi Da (Mi Ram), he continues to lead a hectic life, always on the move.

New cast members this season are also drawing attention. Choi Daniel, known for his unique charm, will deliver a standout performance as Kim Ju Ho, a bestselling author at Julie Publishing managed by Soon Rok and a strong extrovert. Kim Ju Ho is a newly introduced character not found in the original story and is expected to add even more energy and contrast to the narrative with a personality that stands in stark opposition to Soon Rok’s.

Meanwhile, Jo Hye Jung plays Baek Na Hee, Yumi’s cheerful assistant writer, bringing a bubbly, energetic vibe to the screen. Mi Ram also returns this season as Yi Da, Yumi’s close friend, once again showcasing their effortless on-screen chemistry.

Rounding out the cast, Park Se In joins as PD Jang, the producer overseeing Yumi’s work, adding a realistic touch to her life as a writer.

The return of familiar faces from Seasons 1 and 2 in special cameo appearances is also drawing excitement. Sung Ji Ru is back as Kim Man Sik, Yumi’s devoted father who always has her on his mind. Lee Yu Bi reprises her role as Ruby, the irresistibly sly yet lovable character fans continue to adore.

“Yumi’s Cells” Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2026 via TVING. Stay tuned for updates!
