OnePlus Ace 7 tipped to feature an active cooling fan

OnePlus recently launched the Ace 6 Ultra in China, expanding its Ace 6 lineup. Now, early details about the next-generation Ace 7 series have begun to emerge, with a new leak shedding light on key specifications of the upcoming phones.

According to a tipster on Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 7 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The tipster further claims that OnePlus is testing the phone with an in-built active cooling fan.

If accurate, this would mark a first for the Ace series. Even the recently launched Ace 6 Ultra relies on an external cooling accessory rather than integrating an active cooling system within the phone itself.

That said, the Ace 7 lineup is still several months away from launch. For context, the Ace 6 was unveiled in October last year.
