Video. King Charles plays carrot recorder with London Vegetable Orchestra

by · euronews

King Charles III made a royal melody using a carrot recorder with the London Vegetable Orchestra during a Windsor Castle reception on Thursday.

The ensemble was formed more than a decade ago by students of the Royal Academy of Music, who have since become professional musicians. Among their unique instruments are hand-crafted creations made from potatoes, peppers and swedes.

King Charles resumed his public engagements on Tuesday, following a brief hospital stay last Thursday due to temporary side effects related to his ongoing cancer treatment.
