Chance the Rapper and Julianne Hough Join ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ As Co-Hosts

Ryan Seacrest will be ringing in the New Year as the main host of this year’s “Rockin’ Eve” with British singer-songwriter Rita Ora returning as his co-host for the third year in a row for the ABC event in Times Square. 2026 marks Seacrest’s 21st year hosting the celebratory event.

This year’s show will kick off in New York and continue through Las Vegas, Chicago and Puerto Rico. Chance the Rapper, best known for his Grammy-winning hit “No Problem,” joins the Chicago broadcast as co-host and will welcome in the New Year from the Central Time Zone countdown for the first time in the show’s history.
Former NFL player Rob Gronkowski returns alongside the performer and Hough, who makes her “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” co-hosting debut from Las Vegas. Details for the Puerto Rico celebration will be announced soon.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” has previously featured performances from artists like Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Lenny Kravitz and the Jonas Brothers. Last year, Carrie Underwood capped the night with a Times Square performance as the broadcast drew more than 29 million total viewers at midnight, according to a Nielsen report.
The lineup for this year’s event will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026” is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Seacrest, Michael Dempsey and Barry Adelman serving as executive producers.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026” airs Wednesday, Dec. 31, live on ABC beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST, and the next day on Hulu.
