Fiona Dourif, best known to “The Pitt” fans as Dr. McKay, has joined the cast of the horror film “A Head Full of Ghosts.”

She’ll star alongside the previously announced ensemble of David Harbour, Rebecca Hall, and Esmé Creed-Miles (“Hanna”), as well as Bodhi Rae Breathnach (“Hamnet”) and newcomer Hollie Hill-Pearson.

“A Head Full of Ghosts,” which counts Robert Downey Jr. among its producers, follows a suburban family whose life is torn apart when their teenage daughter’s decent into madness becomes the subject of a reality show. Fifteen years later, her sister Merry faces her family’s dark past with a journalist uncovering the nature of the evil force that undid them. Hill-Pearson will play young Merry, while Creed-Miles will portray the character as an adult. Breathnach will be her older teenage sister Marjorie; and Dourif and Harbour are playing the parents.
