Harry Styles Reveals Album Track List and Does Hand-to-Hand Combat — and Choreography — With a Stranger in ‘Aperture’ Video

by · Variety

Harry Styles‘ launch of the music video for his new single “Aperture” both puzzled and delighted fans Friday morning — even as a thumbnail image for the clip further intrigued his followers by apparently revealing a track list for his forthcoming album, “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.”

The video, directed and written by Aube Perrie, depicts the pop superstar wandering through an empty Los Angeles hotel and being trailed by a tall mystery figure in sunglasses carrying a white plastic shopping bag. Eventually the other person — identified as “Stranger” in the credits — makes a run at Styles and a chase scene through the hotel hallways ensues, with the two combatants (or their stuntmen) mutually falling down a circular staircase. Hand-to-hand combat follows… and, then, amusingly, hand-to-hand choreography, as they fall into sync for a dance routine.

At the end, Styles finally gets some attention from a hotel employee at the previously empty front desk, and the preceding minutes are revealed to have been a fantasy, as the mystery figure walks past him, unthreateningly, in the lobby.

Among the bemused and appreciative comments from viewers on YouTube about the bizarre clip:

“I love how this music video was just Harry getting his ass beat, taking a dance break, and then going to sleep.”

“He is progressively getting more unhinged and I am so here for it.”

“Harry doing handsprings and cartwheels was not on my 2026 bingo card.”

“Never thought I would see Ozzy Osbourne chasing Harry and then doing the Dirty Dancing move with him.”

Meanwhile, a thumbnail image in the lead-up to the video being launched featured a text spiral that seemed to unveil 10 songs Styles fans can expect next month. The album track list, according to the graphic, is:

  1. Aperture
  2. American Girls
  3. Ready Steady Go!
  4. Are You Listening Yet?
  5. Taste Back
  6. The Waiting Game
  7. Season 2 Weight Loss
  8. Coming Up Roses
  9. Pop
  10. Dance No More

Molly Hawkins is credited with creative direction for the video, whose choreographer was Ryan Heffington.

The “Aperture” video had racked up nearly 700,000 views within its first 45 minutes up on YouTube.
