‘Only Murders in the Building,’ ’48 Hours’ Among This Year’s CrimeCon Clue Awards Winners
by Michael Schneider · VarietyHulu led this year’s CrimeCon Clue Awards, winning two major categories: “Only Murders in the Building” won the award for outstanding scripted series, while the streamer’s “Girl on the Run: The Hunt for America’s Most Wanted” landed the prize for outstanding docuseries.
Those were among the winners of the 2026 edition of the Clue Awards, which were announced Saturday night at the CrimeCon event in Las Vegas. Former “Dateline” correspondent Chris Hansen, now host of “Takedown With Chris Hansen,” hosted the ceremony. The three-day CrimeCon, held this year at Caesars Palace, recognizes true crime content in TV, film, podcasts and publishing.

Jeffrey Epstein survivors Jena-Lisa Jones, Haley Robson and Courtney Wild received this year’s Crimefighter of the Year honor. Jones, Robson and Wild were recognized for their work in The Survivors, Inc., which focuses on supporting sexual assault survivors. 2025 honorees Becky Patty, Mike Patty and Tara German, the families of Abigail Williams and Liberty German, presented the award.
Also, Law&Crime announced the 2026 “America’s Greatest Detective” winners: Tara Augustin and Alyson Dupouy, detectives at Maryland’s Montgomery County PD, who worked to help solving the Leslie Preer cold case.
