Joel Kinnaman to Lead Crime Thriller Series ‘Bishop’ at Amazon From Little Marvin, Tony Saltzman

The official logline for the show states:
“Homicide detective Bishop Graves (Kinnaman) – brilliant, battle-scarred – will put all of his skills to the test in the hunt for an elusive killer targeting San Francisco’s moneyed class. As this increasingly audacious killer develops a devoted following among the city’s powerless, Bishop becomes convinced these murders connect back to SF’s most powerful man, his own father, Lincoln Graves.”

“Bishop” hails from co-creators and executive producers Little Marvin and Tony Saltzman, with Little Marvin also serving as showrunner. Roy Lee will also executive produce along with Miri Yoon of Vertigo. Amazon MGM Studios, where Little Marvin is under an overall deal, will produce.

Paired with our outstanding collaborators Roy Lee and Miri Yoon from Vertigo, ‘Bishop’ is poised to captivate and surprise our global Prime Video customers.”
This will mark Kinnaman’s second starring role in a Prime Video series. He previously played a lead part in the action drama “Hanna,” which aired for three seasons. Kinnaman also currently stars in the Apple TV+ series “For All Mankind,” while he has previously been in shows such as “Altered Carbon” and “House of Cards” at Netflix and “The Killing” at AMC/Netflix.
He is repped by WME and Magnolia Entertainment.
This is also Little Marvin’s second series with Prime Video, as he previously created the horror anthology series “Them” at the streamer. Saltzman previously worked with Little Marvin as a writer and co-executive producer on Season 2 of “Them,” and has written for other shows like “Dexter: Resurrection,” “Dexter: New Blood,” “Sacred Lies,” and the Amazon series “Goliath.”
Little Marvin is repped by WME, Blue Marble Management, and Lichter Grossman. Saltzman is repped by Kaplan/Perrone and Yorn Levine Barnes. Lee and Vertigo are both repped by CAA.
