Last weekend, the singer gave the live debut of his lead single “Aperture” with a dance-heavy performance at the Brit Awards. Tonight, he’ll be staging his first show in three years at Manchester, England’s Co-op Live, and will be filming the event to stream on Netflix on Sunday, March 8 at 7 p.m. GMT/ 3 p.m. ET/ 12 p.m. PT.
Following “Harry Styles. One Night in Manchester,” Styles will be gearing up for his “Together, Together” tour. The trek kicks off on May 16 with 10 shows in Amsterdam and will include 12 nights in London, where he’ll break Wembley Stadium records; four shows in Brazil; six nights in Mexico; and a staggering 30 shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
During a recent interview with “Runner’s World,” he opened up about how touring affected his perception of self. “Something I’ve often struggled with, in the middle of a tour, is feeling like I’m not sure what I’m giving, not sure what I’m adding to the world,” he said. “Especially when the reward system and the kind of…adulation that you can receive feels so loud. Like clearly I’m getting so much from this, I’m getting all this energy. People are giving me so much, which I deeply appreciate. But what am I contributing? At times I felt quite existential about that.”
In addition to his live performances, Styles will hit the small screen on March 14 as he’s set to pull double duty as the host and guest of “Saturday Night Live.”
