Cameron Britton, Bill Heck, Justin Bartha Join Siegfried and Roy Series ‘Wild Things’ at Apple

Cameron Britton, Bill Heck, and Justin Bartha are rounding out the cast of Apple TV+‘s upcoming limited series about iconic magicians Siegfried and Roy.

Titled “Wild Things,” the series will star Jude Law and Andrew Garfield, while previously announced cast members include Justin Theroux, Jessica Madsen, and Brett Gelman. The eight-episode drama is based on the Apple Original Podcast, “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.”

The official logline for the show states that it “tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.”

Britton will play David Neal, a USDA investigator who was assigned to look into the nearly fatal tiger attack on Roy Horn. Heck will play Jimmy Lavery, a consultant on Siegfried and Roy’s early stage show. Bartha will play Ken Feld, the head of Feld Entertainment who worked with the duo for years.

Britton is perhaps best known for his role in the popular Netflix series “Mindhunter,” playing serial killer Edmund Kemper. The role earned him an Emmy nomination in 2018. Britton also appeared in the Netflix series “The Umbrella Academy” as well as shows like “Barry,” “Manhunt: Deadly Games,” and “Shrill.” He will also be in the upcoming series “Spider-Noir” and recently appeared in Bong Joon Ho’s feature “Mickey 17.”

Heck previously starred in the FX drama “The Old Man” and the Amazon series version of “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Other TV roles include “Locke & Key,” “The Leftovers,” and “The Americans,” while he has been in films like “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” and “Pit Stop.”

Bartha is known for his roles in “The Hangover” and “National Treasure” franchises, with Bartha also appearing in the Disney+ series “National Treasure: Edge of History.” He is also known for his work on the Paramount+ legal drama “The Good Fight” and for his role on “Godfather of Harlem.”

Britton is repped by UTA, Venture Entertainment Partners, and Jackoway Austen, Bartha is repped by Gersh, MGMT. Entertainment and Jackoway Austen. Heck is repped by Gersh, Oscars, Abrams, Zimel & Associates, and Katz, Golden, Rosenman.

John Hoffman developed “Wild Things” for television and will serve as executive producer, showrunner, and director. Both Law and Garfield will executive produce in addition to starring. Matt Shakman is attached to executive produce and direct the first episode. Brian Grazer will executive produce for Imagine Entertainment, alongside executive producers Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric. Will Malnati, who conceived “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy,” will executive produce the project alongside Steven Leckart, who wrote, narrated, and executive produced the podcast for At Will Media.
