Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3′ Leads Panorama Studios’ Four-Film Global Deal With Phars Film (EXCLUSIVE)

India’s Panorama Studios has inked a four-film overseas distribution pact with Phars Film that will see the Ahmad Golchin-founded company handle international theatrical releases for a Malayalam-language cinema slate anchored by “Drishyam 3,” the latest installment in the Mohanlal-led thriller franchise.

The partnership launches with the Feb. 6 international release of Riyas Marath’s “Anomie,” starring Rahman and Bhavana, followed by “Drishyam 3” on April 2. The slate also includes Rohith V.S.’ “TikiTaka,” featuring Asif Ali, and Panorama Studios Production No. 3, toplining Kunchacko Boban and Lijomol Jose.

Jeethu Joseph’s “Drishyam 3” represents one of Malayalam cinema’s most commercially successful and globally recognized franchises, with Phars Film banking on strong international brand recognition to drive theatrical rollout across key territories. The collaboration aims to leverage PHF’s global distribution infrastructure to expand overseas box office potential for the content-driven slate.

Under the deal, Phars Film will handle worldwide overseas distribution and exhibition across multiple international markets. The company operates an extensive cinema network and manages distribution for Hollywood, Bollywood and world cinema titles.

“International markets are increasingly central to the success of Indian films,” said Kumar Mangat Pathak, chair of Panorama Studios. “Phars Film’s global distribution strength and market understanding make them a strong partner for this slate, which reflects our focus on story-led, talent-driven cinema.”
