Taylor Swift has been crowned Spotify’s most-streamed artist of all time, ahead of Bad Bunny, as the streaming giant marks 20 years.

Spotify unveiled its first-ever all-time rankings on Thursday, covering the most-streamed artists, albums, songs, podcasts and audiobooks in the platform’s history.

Swift tops the artists list, with Bad Bunny in second place. Drake is third, followed by The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.

Bad Bunny is the second most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify

The latest accolade comes after another huge run for the 36-year-old singer. Her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, topped the UK and Irish album charts and was later named the biggest-selling album globally in 2025 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

Earlier this year, Swift scored a UK number one with Opalite following the release of its celebrity-filled music video. The clip featured cameos from fellow guests from an episode of The Graham Norton Show, including Graham Norton, Domhnall Gleeson, Cillian Murphy, Lewis Capaldi and Jodie Turner-Smith.

Bad Bunny, meanwhile, claimed the top spot on Spotify’s list of the most-streamed albums of all time with his 2022 record Un Verano Sin Ti.

The Puerto Rican star, whose full name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has continued his remarkable run in recent years. His album Debí Tirar Más Fotos helped cement another standout year for the rapper and singer.

Spotify’s all-time album rankings also include Starboy by The Weeknd at number two, Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (Deluxe) at number three and Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR at number four. Taylor Swift’s Lover and Midnights also feature in the top 20.

The Weeknd also tops Spotify’s most-streamed songs of all time with Blinding Lights. Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You is second, followed by The Neighbourhood’s Sweater Weather, Starboy by The Weeknd and Daft Punk, and Harry Styles’ As It Was.

Elsewhere, The Joe Rogan Experience was named Spotify’s most-streamed podcast of all time, while Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses topped the audiobook list for Premium listeners.
