ITV I'm A Celebrity's Jane Moore annoyed after campmate delivers bad news
by Peter Harris · Wales OnlineOne campmate in the I'm A Celebrity jungle appeared to be upset following a significant announcement made in the latest episode.
Journalist Jane Moore was left displeased as the most recent public vote was disclosed. Hosts Ant and Dec announced that after voting for Coleen Rooney and Dean McCullough to undertake the next Bushtucker trial, the audience were asked to cast a second vote.
This was to choose the next camp leaders, replacing Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and N-Dubz singer Tulisa.
The two campmates with the highest votes would not only get upgraded sleeping quarters but would also assign tasks to their fellow celebrities.
McFly's Danny Jones and former boxer Barry McGuigan were chosen by viewers to take their spots in the luxury lodge. However, some of their decisions soon sparked some friction amongst the camp, reports OK!.
Their choices for what jobs each celebrity would perform were as follows: washing up - Jane and Tulisa, water duty - Melvin and Dean, camp maintenance - Coleen and Maura, cooking - Oti and Richard and wood collection - GK and Alan.
While viewers might have anticipated Tulisa to express her dissatisfaction the most about not being able to act as head chef, Jane was actually left less than pleased. While she was assigned washing up, she told Danny she specifically didn't want to do the cleaning.
Oti and Richard were given the responsibility of preparing the evening's meal, signalling the end of 'Delvin's Diner'. This might be a relief for host Ant, who had previously dubbed it as 'rubbish' in several episodes.
Danny confessed his role in the misunderstanding with Jane, thinking she had stated the opposite and only wanted to be assigned cleaning duties. This follows the first signs of tension this week when Alan and Dean appeared to clash.
Some campmates expressed their displeasure at Dean taking a nap while Jane went to collect wood - a task she wasn't supposed to do alone, and one that Alan wasn't supposed to assist with, although he did anyway. When Dean finally woke up to help, he dismissively told Alan, "You can go back now."
To which Alan responded, "I was trying to wake you up as soft as I could."
Dean retorted, "Listen to me. If you're going to wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright? It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright, so you don't need to turn around to me and say, 'Do you not fancy it? ' OK? And then turn around and walk away."
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
