ITV I'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones leaves fans saying same thing after 'gross' admission
by Mike Taylor · Wales OnlineI'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones left fans gobsmacked with his "dirty" revelation shortly after the ITV show started.
The recent instalment of the hit ITV series has captured audiences, showcasing ten celebrities braving the wilds of Australia, including Strictly's Oti Mabuse, BBC Radio 1's Dean McCullough, Coronation Street's Alan Halsall, and McFly's Danny Jones.
Despite unpredictable weather in the Australian jungle, resulting in a downpour on tonight's episode (November 20), the campmates have had to cope with less-than-ideal conditions.
Jane commented: "Everything at the moment is just a little bit soggy." McFly's Danny then admitted: "Since it's rained I've not washed. Don't fight it, just stink! What do spiders do? They don't get up and shower, do they? They just go: 'I'm gonna go out for the day.'", reports the Express.
Adding to this unhygienic confession, Danny Jones revealed he still hasn't changed his underwear since undertaking a Bushtucker trial that had him confined with snakes, one of which slithered up his shorts.
He recounted: "I've not changed my boxers that I had a snake on.." To Danny's jaw-dropping disclosure, GK Barry reacted: "Before you go back to your wife, you're gonna need to disinfect! ".
Social media users expressed their revulsion at the musician's undergarment revelation, asserting their desire for him to clean up.
One appalled fan stated: "Danny hasn't changed his boxers from the snake night" while another I'm A Celeb fan exclaimed: "Danny hasn't changed his boxers that the snake was on ... THAT WAS LIKE 4 DAYS AGO".
Social media was abuzz with reactions to the lack of hygiene among the contestants, as one person expressed their disgust: "Ewwwww they're not showering. That's gross" while another pointed out: "Danny, you've been in there 3/4 days and had a snake in your pants and you're still wearing them?".
In an interesting revelation, it came to light that the McFly members frequently opted for communal showers or baths post-performance, eliciting an eager response from Dean who joked: "Make sure you set those tickets up for me, I'll be right there!".
Oti candidly reported to the Bush Telegraph about the deteriorating smell at camp due to the weather conditions, saying: "It's so cold and it's so rainy that people are not showering and we are all stinking up that camp right now, it's disgusting and I smell horrendous! ".
During Sunday's episode (November 17), viewers were on the edge of their seats when Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan braved the 'Mausoleum of Misery' trial, where they each faced an enclosure with five locked stars and the unnerving company of 15 snakes.
The tension hit a new high when Danny exclaimed in distress, "I've got a snake up my shorts," prompting laughter from Ant and Dec, with Dec delivering a cheeky line: "That is what's known here as a trouser snake,".
Following the nerve-wracking challenge, a desperate plea came from Danny: "Can you get it out of my shorts! " Subsequently, an odd scene unfolded as Danny unzipped his shorts allowing an animal handler to retrieve the snake from an unexpected hideout.
