Grand National 2025 sees bold new trend spotted

A fashion trend has been dominating Aintree races this year. Each year, we are treated to new styles, accessories and bold colours. One colour we have seen in abundance this year is a buttery, yellow shade. One design that has proved popular are polka dots.

Thousands of men and women have attended the races, held in Sefton. It is no secret that months of planning and effort goes into the looks on display, and people take pride in their appearances as they enjoy the day out.

One bold trend worn by many racegoers this year are polka dots, of all shapes and sizes. The Ladies Day Style Awards winner, Katie Morris - from St Helens, stunned in a polka dot dress yesterday.

She paired the white polka dot dress with a hat that was bought second-hand on Vinted and shoes from River Island. The award was chosen by judges including boxer Natasha Jonas and journalist Gemma Cutting from The Guide, as well as the ECHO's own Emily Sleight.
