It has been another memorable festival at Aintree

The Grand National Festival has finished for another year, it has been a memorable three days of fashion, fun and racing. Aintree races attracts thousands of visitors every year and famous faces are also regular race attendees.

The famous race was won by Nick Rockett. Trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by his son, Patrick Mullins, Nick Rockett edged out last year's champion I Am Maximus.

Among the celebrities spotted at the course today have been Liverpool's legendary former winger John Barnes. Yesterday, Ian Rush was in attendance for Ladies Day, and former Liverpool captain Ronnie Whelan was also in high spirits as he enjoyed the racing.

As well as John Barnes, today has seen Helen Flanagan returning to Aintree. Sharing that Liverpool girls are "absolutely beautiful" and the effort and dressing up is "absolutely great".
