Musician Camryn Magness, who toured with One Direction, Cody Simpson and other acts, has died at the age of 26.

"Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved Camryn, a radiant force whose voice, coy and bright spirit touched so many," a statement from Magness' Facebook page read on Tuesday, December 9. "Whether beneath the waves or on stage, she met life with fearless energy and boundless kindness. In the quiet between waves, her memory will surface - bright, bold, unforgotten. Rest in endless blue, our sweet girl. You are deeply loved and forever cherished."

The statement concluded by asking fans to keep the singer's family and friends in prayer as they navigate "this difficult time."

"Camryn will live on in our hearts forever," the post concluded.

While an official cause of death has yet to be revealed, Camryn's mother, Sarah Magness, told TMZ that she died after being hit while riding an electric scooter in Miami, Florida.

Us Weekly has reached out to the Miami Beach Police Department for additional details.

According to an online obituary, Camryn died on December 5 and was a "vibrant, fearless and deeply loved young woman whose compassion, humor and bright spirit touched every person blessed to know her."

At the time of her death, she was engaged to Christian Name. Together, they were raising two dogs named Brooklyn and Zeppelin.

"💙⚓️ and they lived happily ever after ❤️," Camryn wrote via Instagram in July when on vacation with Name. "Don't ask me to come off this cloud 😎🥰."

The late singer's music career began when she recorded a demo at 8 years old and sent it to her future manager, Jeff Pringle.

"I love Demi Lovato, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Beyoncé - all of the amazing singers with a huge range in their voice," she told Teen Vogue in 2012. "When I'm older, I want to be able to sing as high as possible and as low as possible."

After launching a YouTube channel in 2010, Camryn was asked to join One Direction for their Up All Night Tour and their Take Me Home Tour. Throughout her career, she also had the opportunity to perform with Simpson, 28, and Fifth Harmony.

"A gifted performer, Camryn's voice and music were extensions of her soul," her online obituary stated. "Whether she was on a stage, at a family gathering or sharing a song with someone who needed it, Camryn's music was a reflection of her heart, her courage and her endless creativity.

A service honoring Camryn's life will be announced at a later date, according to the obituary. For now, the family is asking for privacy as they mourn the loss of a woman who they say was "far too young" to die.

"Camryn's life, though far too short, was filled with meaning," the obituary stated. "Her spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched, the memories she created, the music she shared and the love she leaves behind. She is now held in the arms of eternity, and her family and friends will carry her light with them always."
