Harry Styles Unexpectedly Drops Mysteriously Titled 'Forever, Forever' Video

· The Fresno Bee

Harry Styles has subtly returned to social media, leaving Us fans with plenty of questions (and theories!) about his next moves.

Styles, 31, dropped a YouTube video titled, "Forever, Forever" on Saturday, December 27, featuring footage from his final Love on Tour concert.

"I found the tickets [for the] final show," one fan said in Italian ahead of the July 2023 concert. "We are committed. Some sadness that it is the last show, then he will disappear. We won't see him dancing on stage anymore."

The camera then cut to Styles, dressed in a bedazzled gold bodysuit, playing piano during the show. The Grammy winner even received a standing ovation after his performance, closing out the 8-minute video.

"We belong together," text overlaying the final shot of the crowd read.

While Styles did not clarify the purpose of his social media return, fans have traded theories online about its potential meaning.

"I have a feeling this is a subtle way Harry is reminding us he is still here, still loves his fandom and job and a ‘thank you' for us being patient," one YouTube commenter wrote, as another added, "I choose to read this as Harry telling us ‘Don't worry, I'm coming back soon.' Homies, let's be ready for 2026."

A third, meanwhile, jokingly replied, "He remembered he had a job."

Styles last released an album, Harry's House, three years ago but has yet to share an update about when fans can expect his now-long-awaited fourth LP.

"I'm always writing," Styles told Rolling Stone in an August 2022 cover story. "I think all of us are so excited to get back to it, which feels insane because we've just put an album out."

Despite his continued songwriting progress, Styles told the outlet that he wanted to take a hiatus after Love on Tour wrapped for good.

"The fantasy, or the vision, or the version of you that people can build you up to be feels like a person that isn't flawed," he mused to Rolling Stone. "What I value the most from my friends is I feel like I'm constantly reminded that it's OK to be flawed. I think I'm pretty messy and make mistakes sometimes. I think that's the most loving thing: You can see someone's imperfections, and it's not [that you] love them in spite of that, but it's [that you] love them with that."

Styles rose to fame in 2010 when his band One Direction - also featuring Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and the late Liam Payne - was formed on The X Factor UK. The group took an indefinite hiatus in 2016 after Malik's exit the year prior, and Styles dropped his self-titled debut solo album in 2017. He later released Fine Line and Harry's House in 2019 and 2022, respectively.

"I didn't really have a plan of when I wanted to make a record. I knew I wanted to start writing at some point," Styles recalled of his solo debut during a 2019 interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe. "That's why I came out [to Los Angeles]. … Up until that point I'd done a lot of sessions with different people and I tried to write with as many different people as possible just to learn."
