BTS live concert, filmed documentary coming to Netflix in March
by Fred Topel · UPIFeb. 2 (UPI) -- Netflix announced two new BTS projects on Monday. The K-pop band will reunite for a concert along with a documentary.
BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang premieres March 21 at 7 a.m. EST. They will be performing at the Gwanghwamun in Seoul, South Korea.
The band will release the album Arirang on March 20 and perform songs from it at the concert. Hamish Hamilton directs the live show.
Netflix partners with HYBE for the live concert. The streaming service will also release the documentary BTS: The Return one week later on March 27.
Bao Nguyen directs the film following RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook as they make the Arirang album. The Machine and HYBE produce the documentary.
BTS announced a world tour in January. It will begin in April, following the Gwanghwamun concert.
