May 22 (UPI) -- MobLand star Tom Hardy has reportedly exited the show ahead of its Season 2 premiere.

Sources told Variety Hardy won't return as Harry Da Souza if the series is renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+.

The actor, 48, allegedly had onset issues with executive producer Jez Butterworth and 101 Studios.

Deadline said Hardy also clashed with his co-stars.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed reports of onset conflicts but said Hardy's future with the show is undecided.

Season 2 completed filming in March and is expected to premiere in the fall.

MobLand is a crime drama starring Hardy as Da Souza, a fixer for the heads (Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren) of the London-based Harrigan crime family. The show was renewed for Season 2 in June 2025 after its first season drew over 26 million viewers.

Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Jasmine Jobson and Mandeep Dhillon also star.
