Beau Willimon writing 'Game of Thrones' movie
by Karen Butler · UPIMarch 4 (UPI) -- Andor and House of Cards scribe Beau Willimon has signed on to pen a Game of Thrones movie.
Page Six Hollywood, Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news Tuesday.
This will be the first film set in the world created by author George R.R. Martin.
It will also be the first time Aegon I, patriarch of the Targaryen dynasty, will be depicted on screen.
No casting, director or release date have been disclosed yet.
The TV franchise includes the hits Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon and The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
