Pedro Pascal's face seen in new 'Mandalorian and Grogu' trailer
by Karen Butler · UPIFeb. 17 (UPI) -- Pedro Pascal, whose character Din Djarin usually conceals his face with a mask, can be seen in Tuesday's 2-minute trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu.
The live-action film is set to open in theaters on May 22. It follows up three seasons of the Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, which ran 2019 to 2023 on Disney+
The events take place in between Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Jon Favreau directed and co-wrote the movie, which will also feature Avatar, Galaxy Quest, Ghostbusters and Alien legend Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward and The Bear star Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt.
"The evil Empire has fallen and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu (as himself)," a synopsis of the film said. "This clan of two is ready for the fight!"
