Renowned for his slapstick comedy, Harry joined host Matt Tebbutt to chat about his latest book, How to Be Silly Every Day of the Year, as the programme counted down to the festive celebrations.
Chefs Poppy O'Toole, Anna Haugh, and Owen Morgan also featured in the episode, reports the Express.
Throughout the show, the comic regaled the chefs with his humour, sparking a mixed reaction from fans, with some labelling him "cringe."
On X, previously known as Twitter, viewers voiced their opinions, as one fan asserted: "Harry Hill is quality. How can anyone not like him...by not liking him I suppose."
Another expressed their vexation, commenting: "I'm one! Can't stand him! Makes me cringe!", whilst a different user supported the comedian: "I love Harry Hill, he's so silly and clever at the same time!"
One disgruntled viewer lamented: "B****y Harry B****y Hill. Christmas is ruined."
Suggesting that even the celebrity chefs weren't fans of the "silly" antics, another remarked: "Wow! This is hard work! Time to turn over - the fake laughter is too much!"
Meanwhile, other comments included a positive review: "Loving Harry Hill on #SaturdayKitchen. He's hilarious", and a fervent fan wrote: "I b****y love Harry Hill."
Despite the buzz on social media, Harry's peers on Saturday Kitchen seemed delighted by his feature.
Poppy, notable as a Young MasterChef judge, shared her enthusiasm on social media platform X, saying: "Tune in now BBC1 at 9.30am for @SaturdayKitchen where I can't believe I'm sharing the screen with the icon Harry Hill. I'M READY!"
Her followers swiftly responded to her post, many praising her stylish choice of attire for the show. Yet, one particular viewer critiqued the 29 year old's demeanour, posting: "What's with the fake laugh!"
In a bold comeback, she replied: "OMG yeah imagine laughing at comedian Harry hill. What has the world come to x."
Saturday Kitchen returns next week (December 28) at 9.30am on BBC1 and iPlayer
