Full list of new McDonald's Happy Meal toys fans dub 'nostalgic'

McDonald's customers can bag themselves a nostalgic Happy Meal toys as the chain celebrates the new Sonic 3 movie. The themed boxes will contain one of nine new toys, while families will also be able to bag up to 30 per cent off cinema tickets by scanning the QR code on the Happy Meal box.

The toys on offer are listed as Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and Shadow - with others kept under wraps so as not to spoil the movie. To get the cinema savings, families need to scan the code and register, at which point the discount will be valid for one month.

On the side of each Happy Meal box, there will also be QR codes so kids can access extra Sonic games on their smartphones. A spokesperson for McDoanld's said: "Team Sonic are now in Happy Meal!

"It’s official, Sonic’s super team are here! Let your little ones join in on the fun!" A synopsis for Sonic 3 on IMDb reads: "Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before.

"With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance." The film was released in UK cinemas in December 2024.
