ITV James Martin Saturday Morning viewers have been left concerned for a guest and rush to say: "Hope he's OK". James, who was back on ITV for a Christmas special on Saturday (December 21), was joined by Richard Corrigan, a chef.

Ahead of the episode, James' Instagram account typed: "It's our 300th show and @fernbritton, @adamwoodyatt, @chefcorrigan and @midsummerchef and @mwtchocolate are all in the house to help @jamesmartinchef celebrate with great recipes, conversation and festive cheer! 9.30am @itv"

"@sat_jamesmartin #RichardCorrigan looks really rough bless him. Hope he is ok," one wrote. "Must be incredible as a chef to receive the kind of feedback Richard Corrigan just gave James on this dish!," a second wrote.

Others, meanwhile, were rushing to focus on James' 300th episode - and praised the chef for the feat. "Well done James," said an Instagram user alongside a hand clap emoji, adding: "Lovely to see fern too. I won a competition and ended spending the day with her and being on live ready steady cook, with the great brian Turner.

"II was very young and in awe , still in awe. See you walking round good food show and watched many a master class. Congratulations James. Merry Christmas." Another worte: "Congratulations James. Lovely to hear you and Fern reflecting on Ready Steady Cook. You were both genuinely lovely when I was on the show."

A Twitter/X user wrote: "On your 300th show when you thanked the crew it would be interesting if you had the camera swing round and show us who and what’s in front of you if that was okay. Great show regards Pete."
