First look at Holly Willoughby's new Netflix show with Bear Grylls as fans say 'can't wait'

A first glimpse of Holly Willoughby's new Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt has been released. The trailer for the thrilling new series sees the 12 celebrity contestants looking terrified as they are hunted through the Costa Rican jungle by Bear Grylls.

The show is set to premiere on Netflix on February 5. The stars competing are: Spice Girl Mel B, Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, Ted Lasso actor Kola Bokinni, model Leomie Anderson, The Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas, TV personality Steph McGovern, sports stars Boris Becker and Danny Cipriani, TV chef Big Zuu, The Saturdays singer Una Healy, Kate Moss's sister model Lottie Moss, and TV interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

In the footage for the new trailer, the stars are seen struggling with some terrifying tasks as host Holly Willoughby says: "I don't think they knew what they were signing up for." The trailer shows Bear dropping from one hand out of a helicopter as he starts to track the stars.

Terrifying tasks include the celebs attempting to cross a delapidated rope bridge with missing slats across a huge gorge. The trailer also shows them being snatched into the air in nets planted by Bear, being stalked through the jungle by the survival star and being tied up once caught.

Bear teases in the trailer: "These celebrities won't come out of this experience the same." There are also moments of camaraderie among the celebs as they open up about their personal lives, discussing topics like growing up in housing estates and Lottie Moss admitting she had been set to enter rehab again before arriving in the jungle.

If they are caught by Bear, the celebrities face elimination from the show. Fans have been quick to express their excitement over the action-packed trailer and celebrity lineup on X.

One wrote: "This sounds like the ultimate adventure, can't wait to see how mel b and the others handle the jungle vibes with bear grylls!"

Another said: "With Bear Grylls and a star-studded cast, including Mel B, is sure to be an adventurous ride," while a third added: "Mel B vs. Bear Grylls in the jungle? This is going to be wild! Can’t wait for February 5!"

The series is scheduled to debut on Netflix on February 5, 2025. Netflix is to drop the entire series at once.
