Hackney-born actor Idris, 52, has thrown himself prominently into the battle against knife crime in Britain with intense commitment.
In the hard-hitting documentary, which aired on BBC One on Wednesday night (29 January), Idris delved into the underlying causes of knife violence and questioned why so many youngsters feel the need to carry blades that bring harm to others.
