Peaky Blinders film release date shared as creator says 'not the end'

The beloved show, which saw its sixth series conclude in 2022, is transitioning to the big screen with fan-favourite Cillian Murphy reprising his role as the iconic Birmingham gangster Tommy Shelby.
Even though filming for the movie, which picks up after the TV drama’s storyline and is set to stream on Netflix, has concluded, viewers can expect about a year’s wait before it hits screens. During an interview with Times Radio, when prodded about a specific release date, Knight remarked: "It's a bit too soon for that, but you know, you can sort of work out that it will be about a year."
He sparked further intrigue by mentioning the possibility of continuing the Peaky Blinders saga beyond the film, stating: "It's interesting you should ask that question because the film is coming out and that won't be the end."

Regarding additional future instalments of the series, Knight remained tight-lipped, although speculations point to the title The Immortal Man and suggest new challenges for the Shelby family amidst the turmoil of the Second World War. Irish actors Barry Keoghan from Saltburn and The Banshees Of Inisherin fame is set to join Murphy in the film.
Returning cast members include British talents Stephen Graham, reprising his role as union organiser Hayden Stagg, and Sophie Rundle as the formidable Ada Shelby. The ensemble for the much-anticipated film also welcomes Dune's Rebecca Ferguson and Pulp Fiction's Tim Roth into the mix.
