Ex-Man Utd star hints leaving was the ‘right’ decision?
by Junaid Benjamin · KickOffA former Manchester United star is suspected to have aimed a dig at the Red Devils.
Forward Rasmus Hojlund appears to have suggested that his decision to leave Old Trafford was the right one after celebrating his first piece of silverware with Napoli.
His latest success with the club came in the Supercoppa Italiana, where they defeated Bologna 2-0 in the final played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

David Neres found the back of the net twice, while both Hojlund and McTominay played the full 90 minutes, picking winners’ medals afterwards.
Following the triumph, the attacker took to social media amid the celebrations, posting a message that appeared to be a pointed reference to his departure from Manchester.
“What a great decision looks like,” he wrote.
The 22-year-old joined the Serie A champions on a season-long loan ahead of the current campaign, with the deal including an option to make the move permanent in 2026.
After two challenging seasons in England, Hojlund has seemed to have rediscovered his form in Italy
He has thus far enjoyed a productive spell in Naples, registering seven goals and three assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
This is contrary to his time wearing red, during which he managed just 26 goals in 95 games, struggling to find consistency.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, opted to replace Hojlund with Slovenian Benjamin Sesko, who arrived from RB Leipzig in a deal worth around £74 million (around R1.6 billion), but life at Theatre of Dreams hasn't been so dreamy for the former Bundesliga striker.
