New Report Pegs Rumoured Persona 4 Remake for Imminent Xbox Showcase
It's happening?
by Stephen Tailby · Push SquareOne of the most heavily-rumoured games at the moment is a remake of Persona 4, and a recent report has added fuel to the fire.
Website MP1st says the Persona 4 remake is "on the way" and that it's set to be announced during Xbox's big showcase on 8th June 2025.
Citing a source "familiar with the situation", the game will be unveiled during the show and is coming to PS5 and PC in addition to Xbox systems.
MP1st also points out that Persona 3 Reload was announced during an Xbox show, and so it would make sense for the follow-up to repeat that with this year's summer showcase.
The outlet doesn't have any further details, but of course, it's worth mentioning all the recent evidence mounting up for this game.
Voice actors from the original Persona 4, such as Yuri Lowenthal and Erin Fitzgerald, have both publicly said they won't be reprising their roles in the remake project.
All eyes are on the Xbox Games Showcase this weekend, then — though it's possible it could also appear during the main Summer Game Fest show itself.
