Dan Healy, Head of RTÉ 2FM, said: “This survey covers just over 6 months of the new 2FM schedule, and the station has certainly stabilised following a period of change. We are very happy with how all our shows are progressing.

“Demi Isaac and Mikey O Reilly are filling in for Doireann over the next few months and that show has really hit the ground fast. The Laura Fox Show and Tracy Clifford Show has also seen good gains book on book.

“Weekends remain strong and to make sure they remain strong, Katja Mia has come in for Bláthnaid Treacy while she is on leave, Katja sounds like she has been on air for years.

“Game On is moving from 2FM, with a news sports programme Inside Sport starting weekdays on RTÉ Radio 1, so Beta DaSilva’s new music show will start from next Wednesday at 6pm with a heavy focus on new and unsigned Irish music.”
