Kerry Katona breaks silence on Vogue Williams I’m A Celeb appearance as she recalls their 'awkward' first encounter
· GOSS.ieKerry Katona has broken her silence on Vogue Williams’ I’m A Celeb appearance as she recalled their “awkward” first encounter.
During Thursday’s episode of the ITV show, Vogue made her debut as a late arrival, joining Tom Read Wilson, a favourite on Celebs Go Dating, in the camp.
Writing in her latest OK! column, Kerry shared her thoughts on Vogue entering the jungle.

She said: “So, my ex-husband Brian McFadden’s ex-wife Vogue Williams has gone into the jungle.”
“How funny is that?! I do think she’ll do well, but I don’t know her personally.”
Following his divorce from Kerry, Brian went on to marry Vogue, before they separated in 2017, after three years of marriage.
Speaking about her dynamic with Vogue, Kerry confessed: “I remember her waving at me from the car when Brian picked up the kids, she never made any particular effort to come and say hi to me – which I think is important as a stepmum.”
She added: “I never ‘officially’ met Vogue. But good luck to her. I’m not bothered if she talks about Brian round the campfire – we were together twenty years ago, it’s old news. It’s great to see Tom Read Wilson in camp, he’s the sweetest kindest soul, I love him.”
The popular presenter was married to the former Westlife star for three years before they split in 2015.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Vogue confessed that her first husband was “not marriage material.”
Speaking about her first husband, she said: “I have respect for everybody that I’ve been with. Things don’t always work out. I think had I written this book 10 years ago, I probably would have been different, but I’ve matured now.”
“You can accept that things don’t work out as they are, and I wanted to cover that, but not in a nasty way. And I just felt like I had to be really fair in what I thought went on. I didn’t include absolutely everything, because I don’t think that I needed to,” the presenter stated.
Speaking about her new memoir Big Mouth, she confessed: “I think that everything is there in the book, you can read between the lines. But I don’t like the idea of throwing someone under a bus. I think that life moves on.”
In her book Big Mouth, the presenter got candid about her first marriage, stating: “The morning of the wedding I felt very stressed and so anxious because deep down I knew I had made a mistake… After the wedding I tried to make things work.”
“The relationship wasn’t all terrible, we did have some great times too, and for the most part he was good fun to be around. But he was not husband material. It was me who called it in the end,” she confessed.
“I couldn’t keep trying, it felt pointless… I’m not here to throw anyone under the bus but there are things that went on in our relationship that will never be forgiven.”
Brian and Vogue tied the knot in Florence, Italy, on September 2, 2012.
In June 2015, the former couple announced their separation after three years of marriage; their divorce was finalised in 2017.
Vogue is now happily married to Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, with whom she shares three children – Theodore, Gigi and Otto.
