Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo reveal first look at docuseries about son Ziggy

Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have revealed a first look at their upcoming docuseries.

After they announced their pregnancy with their first child in June, the former Made in Chelsea stars confirmed that they were creating a docuseries for Disney+.

Given the working title ‘Jamie and Sophie: Raising Chelsea’, the 30-minute episodes will document their pregnancy with their son Ziggy, whom they went on to welcome in December.

Disney+ penned in a statement at the time: “Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, the nation’s favourite ‘nearly parents’, will star in a new Original series as they take on their biggest challenge and greatest joy yet… parenthood. Coming soon, exclusively to Disney+”.

Now, ahead of the docuseries’ release later this year, Jamie and Sophie have delighted fans with a first glimpse of it.

On Saturday, the new parents chose to post a selection of different photos on their respective Instagram accounts.

On Jamie’s account, he revealed a snap of him sitting on the sofa on the docuseries’ set, holding a clapperboard with a camera setup in front of him.

Meanwhile, Sophie shared a snap of the couple on the same sofa, chatting together.

“Ziggy files,” Jamie wrote in his caption, while Sophie penned: “Coming soon… 👀”.

Many fans have since been taking to their comments section to express their excitement for the documentary series.

“Can’t wait xx,” one responded.

“We are so back ❤️💫✨,” another teased.

“So so excited for this ❤️,” a third agreed.

When announcing their docuseries last year, Jamie shared in a statement: “Guys… BIG NEWS… Sophie and I have been keeping something secret from you but we can finally say. We’re filming something insanely exciting with Disney that will be coming to you soon.

“You’ve followed our lives for so many years and this is the next part of that!!! This is going to be amazing and we can’t wait for you all to watch it!!!!! LET’S GO,” he added.

Sophie also revealed her anticipation for the new series, as she exclaimed: “Well this is happening!!!!! 3 years sharing our lives on a podcast, and now we are ready to share our next chapter with you on Disney and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!!”

A release date for the couple’s docuseries has yet to be announced.
