David Beckham has extended an olive branch to his son.

Throughout the past year, rumours have been rife that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, have grown distant from his parents, former footballer David Beckham and Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham.

Following allegations in December that Brooklyn has blocked members of his family on Instagram, it was confirmed that he and Nicola had separate Christmas celebrations from the Beckhams.

Now, following New Year’s festivities, David has shared a heartfelt tribute to his eldest son.

On his Instagram stories during New Year’s Eve, the 50-year-old chose to upload several throwback photos of himself with his children.

The first two images showcased sons Romeo and Cruz when they were younger, as David gushed: “I’m so grateful for my family I love you all. I’m so lucky to have my amazing family x.”

David then went on to post an old photo of himself with Brooklyn, alongside a white heart emoji and the caption: “I love you all so much.”

The retired football star continued with a throwback photo of his youngest child, daughter Harper, as he penned: “I’m a very lucky Daddy.”

David concluded his tributes with an image of his wife Victoria and all four of their children when they were younger.

“You are my Life, I Love you all, Love Daddy x On to 2026,” he stated.

Brooklyn did not acknowledge his father’s tribute on social media, and has yet to speak out on the reported feud.

On December 26, Brooklyn took to Instagram to share a joint post with his wife Nicola, in which they included several photos from their festivities with the Peltz’s.

The snaps showcased Brooklyn and Nicola posing together in front of a Christmas tree, as well as the couple beaming with Nicola’s parents.

“we wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness ❤️🎄⭐️,” they penned in their caption.

Last month, fans of the clan were shocked when the Daily Mail reported that David and Victoria had ‘blocked’ Brooklyn on Instagram.

Shortly after the news broke, 20-year-old Cruz took to his own Instagram stories to reshare the headline, and claimed that the reporting was false.

He wrote: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son..Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked…as did I.”

Sources close to the couple have reiterated that David and Victoria would never unfollow their son on Instagram, with one quoting to the Daily Mail: “David and Victoria will never stop loving Brooklyn.

“They will always be here for him and they always want him to know that, they are devastated at this fallout. So far from this being them, it appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that’s it, this is final.”
