Zendaya breaks silence on THOSE AI wedding photos with fiancé Tom Holland

Zendaya has broken her silence on AI wedding photos of her and her fiancé Tom Holland, which recently went viral.

Tom and Zendaya met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, but didn’t go public with their romance until 2021. The pair later announced their engagement in January 2025.

Rumours of the pair’s secret wedding began earlier this month, when Law Roach – fashion stylist and a close friend of Zendaya – teased that the couple were already married.

Appearing on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1, Law Roach told Access Hollywood: “You missed it. The wedding has already happened.”

Although Tom and Zendaya have yet to confirm if they are married, fans of the couple were tricked by AI photos of a fake wedding, which went viral on social media.

A few weeks on from the speculation, Zendaya has now broken her silence on the fake images.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 29-year-old actress was asked for her thoughts on the AI photos.

“Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous!’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real,’” Zendaya exclaimed.

Zendaya – who has been spotted on multiple occasions wearing a simple gold band, instead of her engagement ring – went on to admit that “many people” close to her were also tricked by the images, and presumed they had not been invited to her nuptials.

The Dune star was later asked if she had seen any of the headlines surrounding her suspected secret wedding.

“Really? I haven’t seen any of them,” Zendaya teased in response.

Zendaya and Tom remain extremely private about their relationship. In an interview with GQ in 2021, Zendaya explained the reason why the couple view their romance as “sacred”.

“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.

“I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other,” she detailed.
