Molly-Mae Hague reveals sweet Christmas plans after moving full-time into Tommy Fury’s Cheshire home
· GOSS.ieMolly-Mae Hague has revealed her sweet Christmas plans after moving full-time into Tommy Fury’s Cheshire home.
The former Love Island star recently gave her fans an update on the couple’s intentions to renovate their Cheshire house.
Additionally, Molly-Mae revealed to her fans in ahead of Christmas Day that she would be spending the holiday with Tommy’s family rather than her own.
Speaking in her latest YouTube video, Molly-Mae said: “It’s actually hilarious we’re hosting Christmas Day because I couldn’t be any less organised for that.”
“But do you know what? Tommy’s family are so chilled, and I’m just so chilled that I don’t really think anyone really cares. I don’t think they’re really expecting much to be honest. I think we’re just all going to be together.”
“We’re going to have Christmas dinner. I think I’m cooking half, and Tommy’s Mum is cooking half, and she’s cooking the meat and the potatoes and I think I’m doing the veg. But I also need to get prepped for that.”
It comes after it was reported that Tommy Fury is reportedly planning to propose to Molly-Mae Hague for the second time very soon.
The boxer initially proposed to the influencer in July 2023, before the pair split in August 2024 over his struggles with alcohol.
After months apart, the couple rekindled their relationship earlier this year, and now Tommy is planning to pop the question once again.
However, insiders aren’t convinced the couple are moving ahead for the right reasons.
A source told The Sun: “Tommy is planning to propose again soon, but everyone thinks he’s doing it because of what Molly said on her docuseries.
“She made it clear she’s not ready to wear her ring again unless he makes a ‘gesture’ – but Tommy’s just taken that as a sign he needs to step up and propose once more.
“It seems like every part of their lives is intertwined with the show or public expectations, which feels very fake.
“Everyone gossips about how the first break-up coincided with the release of her show, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if this whole proposal happened to generate some Christmas headlines.”
During series two of her Prime Video show, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the influencer told fans: “We’re back together. I’m not putting my ring back on yet, just because I just don’t feel quite ready.
“And also, I would kind of like him to make a bit of a gesture. Not ask me again.
“That’s just, like, a lot, but, you know, just a nice dinner or something, just to have that moment of, ‘OK, I’ll wear my ring again’.”
It’s understood that the relationship between both their families is still quite tense, which could lead to some awkwardness over Christmas.
The source continued: “They’re incredible co-parents to Bambi, and there’s a lot of love there, but there’s also a very messy past that their nearest and dearest are struggling to move on from.
“Getting everyone together in some capacity at Christmas is going to be awkward.”
Molly’s sister Zoe has been particularly vocal about Tommy’s troubles, and expressed her concern over them getting back together.
On her Prime series, Zoe confessed: “I do worry for her and my relationship with her if they did get back together.”
“I think she potentially needs to look into the future and think about what’s best for her and Bambi.
In another scene, Zoe explained: “I’ve literally been there, through everything. Through the upset calls in the middle of the night because he’s out and you don’t hear from him.
“I mean, he’s proven me wrong so far, to be fair, but I do think at some point that it’s gonna happen again. If the drink hasn’t gone away forever, the problems could potentially arise again.”
A source previously told The Sun that Zoe’s comments angered Tommy’s family.
“The Fury family aren’t impressed that Zoe has been so outspoken about Tommy,” the insider said at the time.
“They’re a fiercely loyal bunch, and seeing Zoe’s comments broadcast to millions of people absolutely got their hackles up.
“To them, Tommy is a stand-up guy, a good, hard-working father. His drinking issues shouldn’t be used as a stick to beat him.”
