Helena Bonham Carter 'in talks' to join The White Lotus season four
· GOSS.ieOne of cinema’s biggest stars is reportedly set to join the cast of The White Lotus.
Harry Potter and The Crown star Helena Bonham Carter is believed to be “in talks” for the fourth season of the hit HBO show.
The murder mystery anthology series, created by Mike White, is known for attracting star-studded cast members, including the likes of Aubrey Plaza, Jason Isaacs, Jennifer Coolidge and Aimee Lou Wood.
Although no official announcement has yet been made, Deadline has reported that “exclusive conversations are under way” between both Helena and HBO.
HBO confirmed last month that casting had begun for the next installment of The White Lotus. If Helena signs on, she would be the first cast member to be unveiled.
Helena has already had acclaimed roles on television, including her two season stint as Princess Margaret in Netflix’s drama The Crown. The role went on to earn her two Emmy nominations.
Helena is also widely known for her filmography, with the two-time Oscar nominee appearing in franchises such as Harry Potter, Enola Holmes and Alice in Wonderland.
Following rumours of her casting, fans of both The White Lotus and Helena have taken to social media site X to share their thoughts on the matter.
“Yes please! She can do it all,” one user praised.
“Emmy incoming,” another teased.
“It’s perfect casting already,” a third agreed.
“Need this urgently,” a fourth hoped.
Season four of The White Lotus is expected to take place in France, and it is believed that production could begin in Spring 2026.
A release date for the fourth season of The White Lotus has yet to be determined.
