Cruz Beckham speaks out about 'repairing relationship' with brother Brooklyn amid family feud

Cruz Beckham has spoken out about the possibility of “repairing” his relationship with his brother Brooklyn Beckham, amid their feud.

In January, Brooklyn – who is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham – released an explosive statement on his Instagram stories, stating that he will “not reconcile with [his] family”, and claiming that David and Victoria are “trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship.”

Throughout the past year, rumours had been rife that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, had grown distant from his parents, former footballer David and Spice Girls singer Victoria.

Brooklyn celebrated his 27th birthday on Wednesday, and although his parents and two younger brothers – Romeo (23) and Cruz (21) – shared birthday tributes to him, Brooklyn did not publicly respond to them.

A few days on from his birthday, Cruz has now addressed whether or not he is hoping to mend his relationship with his sibling.

The youngest Beckham son was recently approached by a TMZ reporter, in which he was asked if he had a special message for Brooklyn on his birthday.

“Happy birthday, love you,” Cruz responded.

The 21-year-old musician went on to blank the reporter asking if he has “spoken” to Brooklyn since his statement was released.

Later, when quizzed if he is determined to “repair the relationship” with his brother, Cruz responded: “I hope to.”

David, Victoria, Romeo and Cruz all shared separate birthday tributes to Brooklyn.

On Wednesday morning, David took to his Instagram stories to post two snaps with Brooklyn.

The first showcased a younger Brooklyn in a swimming pool with his parents, while the other saw David posing with his eldest son.

“27 today, happy birthday Bust 🤍 we love you,” David penned alongside the images.

Less than an hour later, Victoria also took to her Instagram stories to re-share the same swimming pool photo, with the caption: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much ♥️”.

“Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️,” Victoria added, alongside an additional snap of her helping a baby Brooklyn to walk.
