Jessie J appeared to take aim at her ex Channing Tatum as she returned to music with a savage new track.

The pair dated on-and-off from 2018-2020, but officially called it quits in October of 2020.

The 37-year-old Price Tag hitmaker is scheduled to release her new album, Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time, on Friday, following her return to music amid her battle with cancer.

Jessie underwent a mastectomy in June as part of her breast cancer treatment, but she later told fans that she would require more surgery.

At a recent event, according to The Sun, Jessie reportedly made a pointed remark on the track Threw It Away, branding the person it was about “a beast.”

She sings: “I put my heart out on the table, that’s when it got uncomfortable. But oh that karma is gonna come one day, cause I gave you my love and you threw it away.”

Jessie later adds: “Don’t you dare rewrite the story. I’m the beauty, you’re the beast.”

While she did not explicitly name the inspiration behind the song, she reportedly told those attending the event: “This next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder, and you can figure out who I was dating.”

Back in June, the British singer announced that she had been diagnosed with early breast cancer and that she would be undergoing treatment.

On July 7, Jessie delighted her fanbase when she revealed that her mastectomy had been successful.

Alongside a video of her two-year-old son Skye, Jessie wrote on Instagram: “And…I AM OK. Results = I have NO cancer spread. Happy tears are real. Thank YOU for the prayers, the love, the well wishes, the joy and all the positive energy.”

However, as she continues to recover, she revealed that she is waiting to undergo a second operation for breast reconstruction, but has experienced delays.
