The Hollywood community has lost a beloved member.
Brad Everett Young, a celebrity photographer who also appeared on shows such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "Boy Meets World," has died in a car crash in Los Angeles, his rep confirmed to NBC News. He was 46.
"Brad was a fixture at Hollywood events, red carpets, premieres, galas, industry parties, and charity functions," his publicist shared with the outlet. "He had an eye that could capture both the glitz of celebrity and the quiet humanity behind the flash."
The statement continued, "To see him working — greeting subjects, arranging light, or simply moving through the crowd with camera in hand — was to witness someone who belonged there, not merely as a documentarian, but as part of the tapestry of those nights."
The accident took place on the 134 freeway in the Los Angeles area late Sept. 14, his rep told the Hollywood Reporter, adding that Young had watched a movie and was driving home alone when a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction struck his car. Young was pronounced dead on the scene.
E! News has reached out to his rep for comment and has yet to hear back.

Young began his acting career in the late '90s, appearing in small roles on shows such as "Popular," "Boy Meets World" and "Felicity," and in later years, "Charmed," "Beverly Hills 90210," the "90210" reboot, "Numb3rs" and "Grey's Anatomy," in which he played an appendectomy patient. He also appeared in films such as "Charlie's Angels," "Jurassic Park III" and "Austin Powers in Goldmember."
The Virginia native was also known for founding the Dream Loud campaign — which aims to bring music and the arts programs back into schools — and for his celebrity photography work.
Among the celebrities Young photographed: David Harbour, Seth Green, Jonathan Lipnicki, "Shameless'" Emma Kenney and Ethan Cutkosky, as well as "General Hospital's" Parry Shen.
"Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest & generous people I have ever met," the latter actor wrote on his Facebook Sept. 17. "But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity."
"He was always striving to make the situation better," he continued. "Working the problem instead of dwelling on the negative of a scenario. He absolutely refused money whenever he took photos of me, was present to help set up at events and simply wanted to help promote my, and other’s, career."
The soap star called Young's death a "huge, huge loss," adding. "To those who met him at our events, you know. Rest in peace, friend."
