Nathan Fielder’s Feature Directorial Debut You Can See Everything Will Arrive Next Month

It’s rare in today’s era of movie-marketing oversaturation to have a genuine surprise drop. A24 has pulled off the rare feat tonight, announcing a new film co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim as it unspools in the Telluride Film Festival’s secret screening slot. Marking the feature-directing debut of Fielder and the second directorial work from Oppenheim to premiere in a few days, after the Venice debut of his Robert Pattinson-led Primetime, the film is called You Can See Everything.

Here’s the synopsis: “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss. From boundary-pushing directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim comes You Can See Everything.“

While rumors swirled last year that Fielder was visiting Theranos scammer Elizabeth Holmes in prison, everything else about the project has been shrouded in secrecy, with no official word from anyone unveiled––until tonight. In a further surprise, A24 has announced the film, which is said to run around 174 minutes, will open in theaters next month.
