Chris Pratt will introduce Seahawks before Super Bowl 60, report says

Movie star and producer Chris Pratt is set to introduce the Seahawks ahead of the Super Bowl 60 kickoff on Sunday, according to TMZ.

Musician Jon Bon Jovi will reportedly introduce the Patriots.

The two celebrities will reportedly be on the field to introduce the teams ahead of the Big Game, similar to what Bradley Cooper and Jon Hamm did for the Eagles and Chiefs in last year’s Super Bowl.

Pratt, well known for his roles in the show “Parks and Recreation,” along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Jurassic World franchise, grew up in Lake Stevens and is a longtime fan of the Seahawks. He is often on the sidelines at Lumen Field, firing up fans and has even raised the 12 Flag.

Actor Kurt Russell had a memorable introduction for the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII, the team’s first Super Bowl win over the Broncos in 2014.

“Hey, how about these ball hawks from the Pacific Northwest?,” Russell said before the Seahawks ran out of the tunnel. “Oh, I get it. Some might call them overconfident, a little bit full of themselves, but is it bragging if you back it up? Let’s see. You hit them, they hit you harder. You get in their face, they get right back in yours. Basically, anything you do, they’ll do better … These fellas have meant business all season long. A hit first, ask questions later, defense. A beast moves the earth when he runs and a quarterback destined for this spotlight. So what do you say, Seattle? That other team may be a mile high, but we know you guys crank it all the way to 12.”
