Quiz: Get to know these Seahawks before the 2026 Super Bowl

The Seattle Seahawks are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2015, featuring a rematch of that game against the New England Patriots (which we won’t harp on any longer). 

The matchup is just about the only thing that’s the same. The previous era featured a cast of Seahawks legends and memorable characters, including Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Kam Chancellor and Michael Bennett (just to name a few).

Eleven years later, it’s an entirely new batch of Seahawks led by another ferocious defense, a budding star in coach Mike Macdonald and a quarterback in Sam Darnold who can silence his doubters for good.

This team might be every bit as good as that last one (maybe better?), but we don’t know these players quite as well. By their own “12 as one” mantra, this team is viewed more as a collective unit.
