Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Nominations for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards are in, with Conclave and Emilia Pérez leading this year's nominees.

At the 2025 BAFTA nominations, ‘Conclave’ picked up the most nominations with 12 and barely edged out ‘Emilia Pérez.’

More than half of the acting contenders are first-time BAFTA Film Awards nominees.

The Golden Globes will return on Sunday with drug thriller "Emilia Perez" leading with 10 nominations, putting it ahead of other contenders like musical smash "Wicked" and postwar epic "The Brutalist". 

The star-studded BAFTA Awards are set to take place in London on Sunday 16 February. Here is the full list of nominees in the running.
