Don’t buy the fake headlines. The Golden Globes might have climbed out of its dismal 2021 and 2023 ratings, but the award show is still down 45 percent in the ratings compared to just five years ago.

The 82nd Golden Globes Awards broadcast on Sunday drew just 9.3 million viewers, a 1 percent drop from last year's already abysmal figure. Overall, Globes viewership is down a whopping 49 percent from its recent high reached just five years ago.
