ABVP has sought the Centre’s intervention to ban a proposed screening of a documentary on jailed activist Umar Khalid at Bengaluru’s National Law School of India University. It also demanded a high-level inquiry into the university administration over the proposed event.

Their letter explicitly urges Central intervention to enforce ‘a complete, permanent cancellation’ of the event, and order a high-level enquiry against the administration of NLSIU.
