South Africa's main cinema houses have pulled a documentary about US First Lady Melania Trump just ahead of its release, with the distributor citing "the current climate", local media reported.

Melania Trump's film is still getting what's likely to be the widest release of all time at the global box office for a doc, including a revised location count of 1,778 locations in North America and as many as 3,000 cinemas globally.
