CM congratulates on passage of Waqf Amendment Bill

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of the country on the passage of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill-2025 by majority in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Chief Minister Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sensitive to the interests of all sections of society, and as a result, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill-2025 has been passed by majority in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. This Bill will ensure the efficient management, transparency, and security of Waqf properties. Additionally, it will protect the interests of poor Muslim brothers and sisters. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, women are continuously being empowered in the country. This Bill will further empower Muslim women and the entire society and pave the way for positive changes in their lives.

Chief Minister Yadav said that this Bill will certainly promote digitalization, curb financial irregularities and illegal occupations of Waqf properties, and increase the revenue of state Waqf boards. This important step, which embodies the resolution of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas" (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all), will prove to be a new milestone towards a new, empowered, and developed India.

Chief Minister Yadav further stated that the Bill was passed by majority in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. As per the essence of democracy, there was an exchange of views between the esteemed members of both Houses. Chief Minister Yadav expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju for this unprecedented Bill.
