Knife rampage near shopping centre leaves multiple people wounded

Police and ambulances rushed to Ratina shopping centre in the city of Tampere on Thursday afternoon following reports of a violent knife rampage.
One person was arrested in connection with the attack, which took place at around 4.30pm local time.
Wounded victims were given first aid at the scene, whilst police cordoned off the area.
One witness told Finnish news outlet Ilta-Sanomat that there was 'a lot of blood' at the scene and described seeing how two victims, who were lying on the ground, were treated by first aiders.
Images and videos surfacing on media show emergency services outside the shopping centre.
An investigation is currently under way, with officers understood to be interviewing witnesses.
Cops confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public, but did not give further details on the extent of the injuries nor on the perpetrator.
Local newspaper Aamulehti reported that the person arrested was a man.
'The situation no longer poses a danger to outsiders,' a spokesperson for the local police force said in a statement.
Tampere, Finland's third largest city, is located around 112 miles from capital Helsinki.
